Version 1.5.1 – Maintenance Release

  • Text on archive page now says “earlier than” not “later than” to eliminate confusion.
  • Rounding bug on settings page when toggling enter type back and forth

Version 1.5

  • My apologies for having to change the interface but now the front page will now serve as a summary and drilling down into a combined table/calendar view. It takes a little getting used to but ends up being, in my opinion, much nicer.
  • When you accrue new time, it will appear in the new notification area at the bottom of the screen. I plan to add more features to it.
  • In-app archive allows user to select a date and archive all saved time previous to it. Archived time is attached to the email backup as a csv.
  • Calendar view added that allows users to enter/edit time quickly by tapping on the correct day. It also supports multi-day time input. Calendar should be locale-sensitive starting on Monday or Sunday where appropriate.
  • New interface design for the home screen. This will lay the groundwork for additional leave categories. 1.6 should have a total of 7 leave categories
  • Found a bug preventing editing of time in the fourth leave category. Fixed in 1.5
  • Found and fixed a performance issue with table scrolling.
  • Changing behavior of the alert view when user selects a date that has already been used. It’s now just a label.
  • New in-app note page for keeping notes on upcoming paid leave. Notes are attached to email backup as a text file.
  • Ability to tally time based on anniversary year now in addition to the “all time” and “this year.”

Version 1.4

  • Customizable category names.
  • A new leave category!
  • You can now choose to tally all time in the table or just the time from this year.
  • Prediction of the amount of time off you will have at a specific future date. Simply enter a date in the future in the day off page. Thank you to everyone who suggested this!
  • The last type of day you selected is preserved on the day off page.
  • Fixed a bug in the email backup where added time wasn’t displayed as such.
  • Hopefully fixed a bug with the keyboard slide on the settings screen, let me know if you see any wonky behavior with this, it’s new code.
  • Attempted to fix a bug with the email forms that weren’t properly adopting first responder status causing the keyboard not to pop-up properly.
  • Added context to the day off submission button based on the switch setting.
  • A button to clear the table of saved time off so you can start the new year fresh. You must press the button twice and then respond to an alert view that makes it explicitly clear that it is permanent. Keep in mind, for the next version I plan to add some sort of archiving system, so you may not want to delete your data.
  • Fixed a bug with the table headings not showing user chosen days/hours.
  • Styled the table, section headers and segmented controls to match the rest of the app.
  • Added a “now loading…” to the news web view along with error text if the news can’t be downloaded.
  • Fixed a bug where the system network activity indicator could get stuck on if you go into the about screen and leave too quickly.

Version 1.3

  • Text in table now sizes automatically instead of truncating.
  • You now have the option of adding, deducting, or ignoring the time you add to the database with regards to your saved time.
  • More accrual options including bi-weekly and bi-monthly, PLEASE REPORT ANY BUGS WITH THESE SINCE THEY ARE NEW FEATURES!
  • A new info/about screen that loads news dev info.
  • A button to email the developer (me) right in the app.
  • A button to send yourself a backup of your data in an email.
